"Imprint II Painting" Contemporary Abstract Oil Painting

In the painting "Imprint II" I transposed the elements characteristic of the culture of the Romanian people. This abstract composition is based on yellow, ocher and white shades - which reveals the timelessness, being marked only by the graphic elements that are placed at the bottom of the composition and in the vertical plane. The motifs used in this work are selected from the Oltenian folklore. The composition "Impressions I" replicates in value the expressions of the geometrical forms: squares, diamonds, rectangles, lines and strips, so frequent motifs in the interior fabrics and decorations of this people.
